Read your comment at the Yarn Harlot. Just wanted to say--when during my second pregnancy I found out I was to have another boy, I spent a fair amount of time mourning the daughter I knew I'd never have.
A very smart woman told me that it was good and important work for a woman like me to have sons. Someone needed to raise feminist men. I met that challenge and think I succeeded quite well. Her comment brought me a lot of comfort over the years.
